Why should my dog learn the 'Recall' command?

Recall is a foundation command with various long term benefits in your puppy's upbringing. Having the ability to call your dog to you can prevent a number of dangerous and life-threatening situations like :

1. Escaping while on walks

2. Running away from home and/or into traffic

3. Getting into mischief inside the house when you are not in sight. 

4. Approaching unfriendly dogs in a dog park

5. Knocking over guests, kids or the elderly in an attempt to greet them.
